The coleslaw is spectacular and the homemade tartar sauce is delectable. The homemade ranch on the salad was fresh and delicious. The popcorn shrimp were a perfect size and the light batter was delicious! Keep up the amazing work you do and thank you for the soectular meal!!!"

"I recently visited the Brown Lantern Restaurant at 417 E Howard St, in Live Oak, FL. This was a recommended place and it certainly was a good experience. Not only the staff, but the interior decor and of course the wings that I ordered. When in the area, get a beer and place your order and enjoy it."

"Please BRING back your old cheese sticks with sweet and sour. I've always loved Brown Latern but yesterday I was disappointed they changed there cheese sticks. Me and my kids always loved their cheese so yesterday I ordered 3 orders which is about one dollar a cheese stick, and we didn't want the red marianna sauce they offer now with the cheese sticks. I wanted the old time sweet and sour sauce that came with the cheese sticks in the past. I'm very disappointed in the cheese sticks, me and my kids didn't even eat them. We did eat the steak Philly cheesesteak sub and fries. Bring back your old cheese sticks!! None of us even ate these new cheese sticks they have now, and I think I paid like close to 30 dollars on there cheese sticks, I just don't know why they changed there food items and they changed there French fries also. They literally was the best fried cheese in the entire world. We all tired one cheese and no one ate the rest of our order."

"Nice place a little way off the interstate. We stopped in to try a local joint. Too many chain fast food places close to the interstate. Burger was good. I'm not sure world famous, but better than fast food. Tons of fries. And then purple Cole slaw was surprisingly good. Much better than it looks."

"Everything was delicious! Despite a full parking lot, we didn't wait long for a table. Chicken wings were huge and the veggie sides were seasoned well. My burger was gigantic and topped with everything. The appetizer potato skins were fresh and very cheesy-definitely sharing size! The staff was very friendly and attentive. Our drinks were always full of delicious strawberry lemonade that had actual strawberries. Very affordable and large portions. Highly recommend."

"Back in the area visiting and I was excited to return to a favorite restaurant of mine from 25 years ago. My first few visits weren't unpleasant, they just weren't as unforgettable as the most recent visit. I placed a "to go" order with Heather and requested a few special things for my burger and fries. I picked my order up anticipating the ah-mazing burger I was about to enjoy. She went above and beyond and made my day! My burger was hot, cheese melted and every single condiment asked for was on the burger. She even added two extra ketchup for my fries as I had requested. Thank you Heather for ensuring my order was all I hoped it would be and creating a memorable and thoroughly enjoyable day!"

"This restaurant was recommended to us by locals, and I'm so glad they did!! What a gem! I ordered the steak salad without onion and my bf ordered the hamburger steak that he had been craving. Everything was excellent! I ordered a drink called the Wipeout-it's very sweet- which I loved! I would highly recommend a visit! It still has the vintage 1970s vibe, it seems to be a staple restaurant in the area. I loved the seasoning that was on the table!"
